I am in the same area as polymerous ,zone 9b, but my experience with "Bali Watercolor" is very different. I love that plant enough to dig it up and transport it to my new place in Northern California, when I was only able to take about a third of my collection. I grew it since 2004, and it usually bloomed for about 6 weeks, beginning in early May. It never rebloomed, but then it was also planted in an area full of tree roots, which got only filtered sunlight. Never spotted or got rust either. In my new location it is again planted in a less than ideal spot, yet it boomed well enough. Will alway keep it.
