I am continually astonished--and pleased!!--at the blooms. Still have an Iris bloom stalk trying to come up, too. It is a pink one, Mary Ann.
The color is called Pale Moss Green, and it is in eggshell finish. Never knew until I got this house how paint finish makes a difference in how the color is seen.
So, I let the peas burn...
...on the bottom, anyway.
Enough was good on the top layer to scrape off and mix with chopped jalapeno and diced bacon to make it edible. Not a fan of them, but I would have failed in my bounden duty to uphold the "Time-Honored Southern Tradition of Eating Black-Eyed Peas on New Year's for Luck" if I hadn't made the effort. {{snicker-snortle-chort}}
