Judy-maybe I will try that one, it will have to be sited carefully due to the foliage color.
DND- Maybe we can swap? A medium 'Flat rate" box priority mail at the post office is $12.65, and is about 11" x 9" x6". In early spring, a bunch of small divisions or daylily roots can fit in there, so much cheaper to swap than to buy from a mail order nursery. p.s. I think I have Primal Scream-have to go look at my records to make sure I am sure of the cultivar in that spot.
Warning-here in the Pacific Northwest, 'Fireworks' gets much taller than it says on the label-about 6 feet, this year I kept it at 5 feet by doing a "Chelsea chop". A very impressive show in late summer/fall! Likely does not get so big elsewhere, lot's of things get way bigger here. Can anyone here chime in about this?
Another thing-someone wanted seeds from it this fall, so I collected some. Of course we have no idea what the 'Sons and Daughters of Fireworks' would look like, but I could mail you some if you like sprouting seeds.
