Thanks Donald for the suggestion. Our weather is somewhat similar and you know what damage the summer sun can do to dark colors even if given PM shade. DogsnDaylillies: Appreciate your input. I'm not overly fond of really black daylilies, but will give yours a look-see....Debra: At least you don't remember Sledge Hammer as a fader. I grow in pots, so overly vigorous daylilies are not a plus really, just as long as it's at least a moderate grower, I may still try it. Darker Shade is already on my list, so glad to hear you recommend it......Mary: Purple Kaboom is sure nice and thanks Glen for suggesting Jamaican Midnight.
