I have to admit, I love it too! The snowman on the side is a Hallmark ornament and I think he's pretty darned cute!

Most of my village pieces go in some way or another with my life/interests... I just got the "Klondike Sled Dog Excursions" (Lemax), which I've wanted ever since we took an Alaskan cruise back in 2008. And then there's "Fred's Butcher Shop" -- my father-in-law's name was Fred, and he actually was a butcher way back when. And "Paula's Pampered Pets," etc. etc.

I have to admit those things are kind of a hassle to store, though... I only have a dozen actual "buildings," plus some smaller things, and it takes several big totes to pack them away; there are a lot of people that have WAY more than that, and I can't imagine what they do with them?? (and, like pretty much all of the holiday decorations, I find it a lot more of a hassle to put them away than to get them out and set them up Hilarious! )
