Now that the snow is finally melting.. (slow but steady) I am having Gardener's anxiety about losing plants over this horrible long winter. We have been under a blanket for so long, and had below normal temps too. I know the snow does insulate, but there are still some spots in my yard where no sun reaches that have a couple feet piled up! It is kind of like glaciers, all hard and crusted. Yuck... I'm about ready to go out and scoop snow to disperse it. Then my neighbors will really wonder about me!
