They ship in 4inch square pots. The rootball is wrapped in paper then all of that is set in a larger piece of paper then back into the pot. I get 12 at a time thats the max per box they ship. The pots all have there own little slot and it's all restrained from moving by cardboard I-beams. It all arrives in great shape in two days. I'm sure they all use similar packing for live plants. You had mentioned S. 'Big Swing' and how you liked it and I love blue flowers most. S. vasquezii, S. gravida in the DB still, looks very interesting with the leaf having a vivid color underneath. I purchase S. confertiflora because the one I had turned out to be tequila which keeps breaking at the base. I think there are three canes left. Still blooming away though. 70+ Salvia here now. Thumbs up
