I got Outrageous in a trade with a neighbor in 2005 and it has been a wonderful addition to my garden. I actually think it gets taller than the 22-inch registered height. More like 26 inches most years, but not sure if that matters to anyone.

This picture from 2010 shows the height (the plow handles are about 24" from the ground). Daylilies do not get any special treatment here like fertilizers, etc. I did notice a picture of mine from 2011 where the blooms were not as tall, so maybe that is why it was registered at only 22 inches.

Outrageous had an average of 12 blooms on 3-way branching in 2009 (the last time I actually kept good records of such). In 2014, it bloomed from 6/29 to at least 7/14, or about two weeks for sure.

Here is a picture showing a little bit of the bud count and branching:

I have separated this clump and given away so much that I know it is a fast multiplier. One of its children is Screamcicle, a cross between Primal Scream x Outrageous. I would love to put it between its parents in my garden Smiling
