I looked at the extended weather temps through Mid March. For Houston area, it shows no freezes! It could be that we might end up with a mild winter! LOVE IT! Still, the Tropicals prefer the warm temps of the greenhouse as they are not fond for 40 degrees. Some even balk at 50 degrees. The sun has been shining so nicely lately I am ever so tempted to remove a few things from the GH. I do this when I get itchy for spring. Better not.....

@SALL20 I am up in Kingwood. There are many trees here that help protect my garden plants. We are on the border of Montgomery County where it gets a few degrees colder. But the trees insulate us from the very cold. It seems to get colder in the wide open spaces cwho are void of trees.

I have some Asiatic lilies that are coming up nicely near the Easter Lilies. Typically, they start greening up this time of year. They never seemed to be hurt from frost but they are situated under a tree. I don't think you have to worry about them.
Life is short, Break the rules, Forgive quickly, Kiss slowly, Love Truly, Laugh
uncontrollably, And never regret anything that made you Smile.
