I have had an Etsy shop for 3 years for Wedding Silk Florals, Preserved and some decor it has been very successful. I buy regularly seeds, plants, art, collectibles, and gifts from Etsy. I highly recommend you try opening a shop. Here is my shop on Etsy as an example for you. https://www.etsy.com/shop/Silk... I have spent money on other websites, advertising, and many other applications, nothing has brought me more business than Etsy. If you start your own website you have to advertise to get people to your site this takes lots of money, and time. With an Etsy shop, they pay for all the advertising, you pay .20 per listing every 3months, and a percentage for the payment processing which you are going to pay with any site. Believe me in 4 years I have tried just about everything out there and have wasted a lot of money. Facebook is nice to have as a web prescence but it has not brought me 1 sale in 3 years though I have 3100 followers. Etsy has brought me more than 1000 sales, over 600 on the site and more than 400 leads that I processed from my website. Hope this info helps in your decision, Kim
