Hi Big Grin

Uhm...I am the absolute worse at listing Latin names. No matter how many times people explain it I don't get it. Couldn't tell you a species from a genius if my life depended on it because I just plant 'cacti' and grow them. I'm not a botantist...no offense to those who are and are immensely smarter than myself. Thank goodness for them! Thumbs up

But I do know what this plant is called . It is called oputina microdasys v. 'funny bunny.'

I call it prickly pear, v. funny bunny and very painful due to the glochids that never seem to come out of your skin for a week! Grumbling

If you wish to add it or use it please do. It is a plant that lives in zone 9b, low Sonoran desert in Casa Grande, AZ. It is my neighbor's plant and it is about 15 years old more or less.
Thanks for your consideration.
