I am not sure this is actually F. emoryi ssp. rectispinus. This cactus has bristly radial spines, which F. emoryi ssp. rectispinus does not have (compare to the other 2 database pictures posted). Not sure what this is instead, but given the location the pictures was taken I would guess F. cylindraceus or something along those lines - which does have the bristly radial spines.
It is what it is!
