A friend gave me these and she has no idea what their names are. I also purchased some that were nearly free from Lowes, unfortunately they didn't have any id tags. Any growing tips would also be greatly appreciated.

She called this one a onion plant?
This one had a tag that said it's a Dieffenbachia, but I haven't been able to find any information on it. The leaves are turning brown.
