So we're in a winter storm warning for 4-8" of snow tomorrow. I'm wondering what these nut jobs at the NWS are thinking. There's nothing on the weather models (NAM, GFS, Canadian) that would indicate that much snow falling tomorrow. Not to mention it's February and you have a whole new dimension of a higher sun angle to deal with when forecasting. The sun rays come through the clouds and aid in melting the snow as it falls during the day. The temps in our area tomorrow are supposed to be 32. I'd say we get 2" max. We'll see if their forecast verifies.
