O my daylilies Smiling Only two, both were new and came from waaay up north. I think they will likely bloom earlier this year and with some cooler weather I think the color might be richer on those that bloomed in full sun like 'Orange You Clever' but no matter if it explodes like in the 2nd photo:

I'll probably try to keep 'Odds Bodkins' with a bit of shade. There's so much light coming from the heart of the bloom it lights up the shade and keeps the darker bloom protected from the sunlight here which really tends to mess with dark colors.
