If you could give us some idea of:

1) The size of the pods

2) What plants are nearby, e.g. is there an overhanging tree or a shrub nearby.

As you found two, it's likely they dropped off something nearby.

As Lin suggested, location helps.


If you could answer these questions you might get an answer.

Identification isn't always about recognising something, with more information I can search for e.g. galls which may be found on a specific plant. Smiling
