I had my first bud open on my first iris yesterday, on 'Luminosity'.

Hmm, just noticed that oddly enough the beard color looks different (pictures taken at different times of the year), but this stalk is definitely from a rhizome in one of the miniclumps from the three original rhizomes. No other irises were ever grown there. What gives?
I hope the nursery didn't send me mixed rhizomes! I guess I had better go check for fragrance...
