I don't either buy for one min that it was dementia, these drug people are not stupid, you don't have to spend much time w someone w memory problems to know they are not right between the ears and no one in their right mind would hand over 3Million of their money to someone w dementia. He knew exactly what he was doing. The question is why, maybe he did it for thrills, but I did read somewhere that he had some mexicans hired that worked on his garden(farm) and I wonder if they did not have connections and either tricked or threatened him. If that is the case he still would not have stood up for himself in court for fear of his family being harmed. I just feel there could me more to it than him just choosing and wanting to do it. He did it for quite some time though I understand. Just a sad deal all the way around. I believe he is in his 90's (?) now, so he probably does not have too long to live. I suppose at this point he is not a threat to society and his family would be keeping tabs on him and such. Gov probably did not want to foot his med bills/housing any longer.
