I saw an ad for Itoh peonies and thought the prices were completely unrealistic. The ads were from Michigan Bulb and Spring Hill, neither of which are known for correct plants or true to name plants. Also, K. van Bourgondien had 'Garden Treasure' for $20.63. I checked other vendors and Hollingsworth was $64, Klehm $85, Adelman $60, and HSFF $65. KVB is a supplier to some big box stores and anything with that name should be suspect. Even 'Bartzella' was under $30. Remember the old carnival barker saying "You pays your money and you takes your chances."
