JaveMom...I too am fighting the battle of the snails. They had a population explosion. I was trying to manage them by hand-picking them (if it's a few I squish them, if it's a lot I put them in a plastic bag, tie it closed and throw them in the trash. At times I had a bag big enough to fill a shoebox! I finally broke down and bought a huge bottle of Sluggo. I have a dog so I wanted to use the non-toxic option. I'll spread it when I know it's not going to rain.
