Does the Epsom salt around the plant work with sails also? We just sprinkle Epsom salt lightly around plants that the slugs are attacking and the stop because it kills them when they slide over it. I would think it would work with snails also. Maybe someone else has experience with snails but it might be worth a try. It's a cheap fix if it works.
