I would have to say Beauty In Motion by the late Bud Bennett is the diploid that has the thickest and well branched scapes. Coming in a close second is Jazz Me Blues, also by the late Bud Bennett. I also think that there are many factors which play into scape development. I believe that water and sunlight go a long way for scape development. If I recall, Starman's Quest also has a sturdy scape and has been 4 to 5 way branched for me. I moved it two years ago to a sunnier spot and it is performing extremely well.
