I don't think you need to worry about cold hardiness, but as you say, the winter wet is a challenge. My poor little Orostachys spinosus is looking very sad - how on earth did you get yours to have so many chicks, Lynn? Wow!

Also this link has pics of the blooming stalk - Dunces Cap is the common name, and you can see why!
