I think I see poison ivy in the photo's but it could be poison oak as well. Definitely wear gloves and keep your arms and everything covered when removing this vine. I "think" poison oak has 5 leaves.

Something I was taught ...

Leaves of 3, leave them be
Leaves of 5 will eat you alive
