Recently took my annual sojourn to the Cincinnati area to visit inlaws so I went hunting for clearance and discounted plants. Here are some of this years scores so far:
1 gallon Blaze for $5 at Lowe's
1 gallon Marguarite Gerard for $5 at Lowe's
3 gallon Mons Jules Eli for $25 at Menards (huge plant/will divide)
5 gallon Yellow Heaven Itoh for $29 (they also had Yellow Waterlily; had Yellow Crown labeled as a hybrid and selling for $9) at Home Depot
3 gallon Mr. Ed for $25 at Menards (will divide/huge plant)
Mr. Ed and Mons Jules Eli weren't discounted yet, but I won't be back in the area when that starts so I decided to go ahead and get them. Huge/beautiful plants. Anyone else scoring any deals yet?
