When deer eat they grab a leaf and twist it as they pull. You know it's deer if the leafs are shredded and broken or the top of the plant is missing entirely.

Rabbits nibble from the outer corner inward then leave the part of the leaf they don't eat untouched.

Inspected much holes here and there. Cater pillars, slugs, or grasshoppers,
