I think you meant the blooms themselves are five days old.
They are so pretty. That is great so many opened at once.
Just my opinion but I would wait till after it blooms and prune it down to get more branches lower.
You may like the tall look though. With your weather it did really nice.
These are seed grown or you bought very young plants? Which ever you got blooms early
