I love HUGE orange daylilies and MISTER MONOPOLY definitely fits the bill. Like Kathy pointed out, it is very hardy in the north but not a fast multiplier. That being said, it never fails to put on a good show and the scapes are truly wonderful. The fact that it doesn't multiply rapidly makes it an ideal garden specimen for those that find digging and dividing huge clumps of daylilies every 2-3 years to be intimidating (like myself). Pollen is good but I have never been able to set a pod on it.
