I've had too many failures with wood and plastic.

Omoshiro doesn't require anything massive for me. It would be great to see one that needed something huge.

Jackmanii does require a strong trellis! This trellis is strong enough but not tall enough for this one. It constantly grows into the lantern and has to be cut back by mid to late May.

Stumps are good for growing them but eventually they do decay.
