they are from the same gene pool ! 
These are heavy duty with a life time warranty. 
I have had the manufacturer refund one already and I am about ready to request another. The current Swan hose I had only a few months when the insides just came lose from the outside cover and plugged the end so no water would come out. These are made in the USA and sold at Lowes. Very frustrating. I also have been attacked Dahlianut when giving my hose a hank. I have Nessie #2.
