Hi Midwesterners. I am in Iowa zone 5a. Does anyone cut back their Daylilies in the fall? I am going to cut back the foliage on my Iris and was wondering if it is okay to also cut back the foliage on my Daylilies. I want to get as much done before the snow flies which will mean less to clean up in the spring. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Also I found some Daylily babies growing on a flower stalk. What should I do with them? Will they survive the winter weather if I plant them in the ground now?
Yard decor, repurposing, and flowers,
