Unfortunately it bloomed on the one day I was out of town. I caught a picture of it on the second day, but I would have preferred the tight, fresh, first day photo.

It swung itself back into the shade for some reason after it bloomed.
This is my third year with this lotus. Here's the front of the pond on the same day as the last picture was taken:
