Yeah I meant roses. I'm not positive what a good distance from roses would be honestly. Maybe someone with a bit more knowledge than me can chime in on this. I suppose you could treat the roses and area around them for aphids. But not sure how often you would have to do that. Or if it can be done without chemicals. I try to refrain from chemicals if at all possible. Only other thing I can suggest is if you water for gardens, lilies should be watered with a soaker house so the foliage doesn't get wet. Especially when humid. A few other things to look for to keep lilies happy and healthy. Botrytis is their biggest nemesis. Damage from hail or wet leaves during humid weather, or frost damage early in the year are big causes. I have a recipe for stuff called "bordeaux" which you put into a spray bottle. Treat lilies in spring with it, then after they get say hail damage or something like that.
