I know I sound like a broken record, but doubles are not my favorite form. However... the color of Peach Magnolia endears me to it every year when it blooms.

2004 was the first year I purchased known hybridized daylilies and I got a double fan of Peach Magnolia for $7 that year. It has been divided multiple times and moved at least 3 times. It is now 10 fans strong in its latest location.

It does not get rust, so my score on it this year is 1. It gets about 2 to 3-way branching and about 6-10 blooms. It blooms in my zone 6b garden from late June to about mid-July, about 2 weeks. So even though it is registered as a Mid-Late Rebloomer, I think of it more as a mid. I have never seen it rebloom.

Peach Magnolia has always doubled for me. Like hillbilly, I don't recall ever seeing it single.

This picture kind of shows the low branching and bud count.

The form kind of reminds me of a peony at times.

I love the 32" height on Peach Magnolia and it blooms well above the foliage. I don't have the Summer Wine ninebark anymore, but the color of Peach Magnolia went very well with it.
