Goodness, aren't your chipmunks all hibernating with all that snow around, Joanna? Maybe if you start out just putting some seeds out near the woods there, the turkeys will get it all and the chipmunks won't have a chance at it even if they aren't sleeping. Then move the seed supply gradually a little closer to the house so you can see the turkeys better.
