My bathroom doesnt have a window just a very small vent fan that is connected to the light so we have to leave it on for hours before it begins to vent ont the restroom. I noticed last this morning there was a smell coming from it so i went to investigate. I thought maybe the dogs accidently peed on the mats while we were alseep so i threw the mats in the wash and all the towels. I mopped with pinesol and hot water, but it still smells. I have no idea where the smell is coming from, but it smells like mold strong. Ive also noticed when we wash our our clothes our shower has the same drain as our washer and water spits up in the shower from it from time to time, but i dont think that's whats causing the smell because i poured clean water down the drain...ive also lit candles and it still doesnt help and I dont see any mold anywhere or any cracks in the toilet. It is a very small restroom with the wall right next to the toilet so there isnt much room in there in general or to look on the other side of the toilet.
Any suggestion's or ideas how to rid the moldy smell? Thanks in advance
