We don't have a ceiling fan. We have that giant AC duct in between our room and living room. I'm not even sure what size filter's it need's, But, the smell is strong near our bathroom, so I can't distinguish the exact spot. Sometimes it's stronger inside the bathroom when the door is closed sometimes it's stronger in the hall. I'm still not sure where it's coming from and i cant rewash the carpet cause I just did that and i dont want mold to grow there from an overwet carpet if it's not already there. Im wondering if it's coming from the walls, but again there's no visable mold there, you think the smell could be coming from inside the walls?
