I love tree stumps, too, but my HOA does not. (I'm not sure what they DO like, LOL) Their last "evaluation" said we must remove a tall stump out front (the tree had to come down due to disease). I responded by explaining it was a decorative pedestal for holding a potted plant, bird bath, or object d'art... they'd just seen it on a "naked day." I didn't hear anything more about it...
We're all learners, doers, teachers.
