I have had the plants for several years now, so they have been though lots of temperature changes(as low as the teens and up above 100) with normal highs in the mid to upper 90's. Stella seldom got watered, but was mulched. The shade increasingly got darker until this past winter when I cut down a row of cedar trees. Now the spot should receive much more sun. I actually looked out the window just now and I can see several daylilies waking up, some of them possibly could still be Stella de Oro. With the trees cut and more sun, I will wait and see what blooms this year.
