I've also looked into ways to spread the seeds. I have an area in my front yard where I encourage rebloom / self seed native wildflowers. When the flowers are spent and go to seed I break off the various varieties with all the heads of one type of flower gathered at one end of my "bouquet". I then drag the dried heads across the dirt where I want a drift to occur. Works every time. I have GREAT luck doing with with lavender seeds which are difficult to propagate.
