I am wondering if there would be enough interest in native habitat for its own forum? I am in the midst of a fairly large restoration project and wanted to start a thread to follow its progress, but couldn't really decide which forum would be best suited. I could put it in my geographical area, the Pacific Northwest forum. Or the Wildflower forum, although that is mostly geared toward flowers and not so much the whole habitat. I do know there are many gardeners who are consciously trying to incorporate native plants (trees, shrubs, perennials, annuals) into their landscaping, along with water sources, nesting areas, and brush piles. And many folks who have outlying native areas they are working to protect and improve. Many developments now include native growth protection areas as mitigation for denser housing. Just tossing it out there to see what the interest might be.
I want to live in a world where the chicken can cross the road without its motives being questioned.
