I just bought Susan Weber last spring as a bare root double fan. She grew well during the summer, and bloomed. I used her pollen on Big Smile (17 seeds in one pod) and on Close Up (37 seeds in two pods). I have started 6 seeds from each cross and all germinated and are now growing under lights awaiting transplant to a seedling bed when the weather warms.

Both crosses were with plants that grow vigorously in my garden and feature flowers that have a pink blush on their edges. I hope these seedlings will be vigorous growers, since the above reviews don't give Susan Weber high marks for vigour.

Susan Weber has made it through her first winter in my garden and I will update this review with her performance later this spring and summer.
