As discussed elsewhere, I have also tried my hand at growing F. persica:
First year they looked great:

Second year, only 2 showed up and only one of them bloomed. I thought they had died due to too much moisture in the soil, but this year I have 3 up and one blooming, so maybe they just need a bit of time to settle in?
Of course I talk to myself; sometimes I need expert advice!
