Genna - Wow, what an ordeal--and a lucky break!--on your bottle search. I had no idea so many people were in search of pharmacy bottles! (I could speak with my stepdad to see if he has any leads about Thornton Drugs, but he's a doctor, not a pharmacist, so I'm not sure if he would know. If he has leads, though, I'll be sure to pass them along via Tree-mail.)
As for pictures of registered daylilies goes, though, there are quite a few that don't have pictures. Today, it is standard practice (and possibly required?) to have a picture, but in the past it certainly wasn't required and many daylilies existed before personal cameras were common! Baby Keith was registered in the 1980's...back in the days of polaroid and film cameras, and not everyone had those. In fact, most or all of Primos' cultivars were registered without any pictures, sadly.
