And mine are in zone 10b and thriving - they've been blooming for almost a month. I have them in containers and they get some degree of am sun, and no sun at all after about 10:30 am. this varies with the movement of the sun, of course. My point is that this plant seems to be very happy in quite a wide range of weather conditions and temps - makes me want more of them to try out different spots all over the yard.
Can't complain too loud about how the ball bounces when I'm the one who dropped it.
