Sharon I have never done a chair for outdoor use. Would Kilz be the first step after sanding? Then what. I have never painted a chair, I have only used hand applied stains and finishes.
Hetty I love the vine idea and think it would work well on the children's chairs. I will have to give that a try with one of them.
