Hi Fred,

No, no batteries anywhere. My sprinklers are on an electric timer and zoned. My pool is heated by solar panels and is also on a temp control that is electric which moderates the pool temp. The solar panels really only work well in the spring, summer, fall, for the winter temps it just can not handle it. But no batteries!!! I don't have any remotes because everything (2) are on a timer. Can't trust my mind to do remotes, Fred! LOL
