Hi Lee-Roy @Arico

Digitalis ambigua, D. dubia, D. ferruginea, D. grandiflora, D. x 'John Innes', D. lanata, and D. parviflora plants behave like perennials in my garden. I have noticed some plants will form offsets that take over after the part that flowered has set seed and died. I grow all of them in full sun and gravelly soil. They have hybridized and self-seeded freely (perhaps a little too freely!) in my flowerbeds over the years.
