Salvias
It's presently blooming in Cheyenne. The third year for the original plants. I was expecting them to be strictly biennial (since I don't cut the flowering stems back until after the seed has matured). Once I do cut them back, they regrow fresh, fuzzy foliage that stays nice the rest of the season. For some reason, they're a slug favorite in the spring of the year Glare It doesn't seem to bother the plants (but it bugs me).
