And now, one last question....what is the best tool for digging up bulbs without harming them? I have a shovel, a small hand shovel, a bulb digger hand shovel thingy (yes, that's the official name
it's like a narrow hand shovel with graded depth markings) and a four-pronged, large garden fork (not a hand tool).
I don't object to purchasing a new tool if there's one that would be better than any of these. I plan to be doing this each year so it'll be a good investment.
